NILES - Nina P. Burns, 75, passed away peacefully at 10:05 am Saturday morning November 30, 2013 at her home.

She was born in Morehead, Kentucky on January 20, 1938 the daughter of Leonard and Hazel (Riddle) Thornsberry.

She retired in 1988 as the Ohio and Pennsylvania district supervisor of Olan Mills Portrait Studios where she worked for 20 years. She was a member of the Top Ten Club for 55 years and enjoyed photography, dancing, traveling and listening to dance and country music. Nina was a member of the Campers Club and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Nina is survived by a son, David Burns; two daughters, Wanda Burns, Karen Koncsol all of Niles; three grandsons, David Lee Shaffer Jr. of Austintown, Michael (Leeann) Burns of Niles, Kevin Koncsol of Niles; two great grandsons, Mason Burns, Zoey Shaffer; sister, Deborah Coleman of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Kenneth (Gerrilyn) Thornsberry of Vienna.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Burns whom she married on July 27, 1955 and who died on February 4, 1998; brother, Raymond Thornsberry on December 31, 1959 and a sister, Shirley J. Black on June 27, 2008.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
