She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Caldwell; her parents, Fitzhugh Lee Johnstone and Ethel Oaks Johnstone; one brother, Fitzhugh Johnstone, Jr.
Billie was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a retired social worker for the state department. She was also a member of the Women’s Club and Homemakers Club.
Funeral services for Billie Johnstone Caldwell will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Kimmons officiating. Burial will follow at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin, KY. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 beginning at 12 p.m. until the funeral hour, also at the funeral home.
