I, Nancy Pillow (widow) of Springdale Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make, publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all other wills by me, at any time, heretofore made.
I desire my body to have a burial in accordance with my ways in life. My soul, I commit to the mercy of God, through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Item. After my just debts and funeral expenses are fully paid, I give and bequeath all this world’s possessions that God had blessed me with, as follows:
All my personal property, household furniture, etc. that I have not disposed of by a paper dated the twenty eighth day of February 1897, and in the possession of Miss Amanda McKinley shall be appraised, according to law; and it is my will that said paper in the possession of Miss McKinley shall not be probated as part of my will, and that the articles named therein shall not be appraised, and that my executors shall not be chargeable therewith.
FIRST. I direct that one hundred ($100.00) dollars shall be paid by me executors to Miss Amanda McKinley, to be used by her in having my name, date of death, etc. placed on the monument and fixing my grave; and I also give and bequeath unto the Fidelity Title and Trust Company of Pittsburgh, the sum of five hundred ($500.00) dollars, to be safely invested by it, and the net income therefrom to be paid annually to Miss Amanda McKinley, during her life-time, the same to be used by her, according to her own judgement and discretion, in keeping the graves of my husband and myself in proper order; and at the death of the said Miss McKinley, the trust shall end and the Trustee shall pay the principal of said legacy to the United Presbyterian Memorial Hospital of Allegheny City, Pennsylvania, to which Institution, at the death of Miss McKinley, said principal is bequeathed.
As to such estate as may remain I give and bequeath the same as follows:
Item 1: I give and bequeath to the trustees of the Allegheny Theological Seminary of the United Presbyterian Church of North America, the sum of three thousand ($3000.00) dollars, the same to be invested and the income derived therefrom to be used to defray the education of poor and worthy young men for the ministry, either int eh home or foreign mission field of that church; said Trustees to be the Judges as to the young men selected to receive aid.
Item 2: I give and bequeath to the Harmerville United Presbyterian Church, one thousand ($1000.00) dollars; the same to be invested by the trustees of said church, and the net income derived from same to be used in the paying the pastor’s salary, so long as said church exists as a congregation; and when said church ceases to exist as a congregation, I give and bequeath said one thousand ($1000.00) dollars to the General Assembly of the United Presbyterian Church of North America to be used in the spread of the Gospel.
Item 3: I give and bequeath unto the United Presbyterian Orphans Home of North America Avenue, Allegheny City, Pennsylvania, three hundred ($300.00 dollars, to be used to aid and support said home.
Item 4: I give and bequeath to the Home for Aged People of the United Presbyterian Church at Penn and Trenton Avenues, Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, the sum of two hundred ($200.00) dollars to be used for the benefit of said Home, as the managers of the same shall direct.
Item 5: I give and bequeath unto Miss Amanda McKinley, the sum of three hundred ($300.00) dollars.

Gibson, Maggie Gibson, Eliza A. Norris and Belle Norris
All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, of whatsoever nature and wheresoever situate, I give, devise and bequeath unto the Board of Foreign Missions of the United Presbyterian Church of North America, and the Board of Home Missions of the United Presbyterian Church of North America, share and share alike.
And lastly, I do nominate, constitute and appoint Rev. W.G. Reed, Amanda McKinley and Rev. John Henderson, executors of this my last will and testament.
