Donna Rae Wayne, 72, of Vienna, WV, died at Sebastian Medical Center, Sebastian, FL., Feb. 9, 2009. Donna was born in San Diego, CA, graduated Eastern High School in Lansing, MI and joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1955 where she met her husband, Clayton Wayne. They have resided in Vienna for over 40 years where she was employed as a merchandiser for American Greetings card company. Donna was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Parkersburg.
She is survived by Clayton Wayne, her beloved husband of 52 years; 1 son, Stephen Wayne of Clarksville, TN; 2 daughters, Sallie Wright of Parkersburg, WV and Stacia Al-Qabandi of Kuwait; brother, Terry Nadeau of Lansing, MI; 2 son-in-laws, Joe Wright of Parkersburg, WV and Salman Al-Qabandi of Kuwait; 1 daughter-in-law, Audrey Wayne of Clarksville, TN; 3 sister-in-laws, Vallie Listol of Spring Hill, TN, Sharon Nadeau of Lansing, MI, Barbara Nadeau of St. Johns, MI; 1 brother-in-law, Vern Listol of Spring Hill, TN.; 6 grandchildren, 4 nephews and 4 nieces.
Donna was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Memorial services will be Sunday 2PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Daniel Morikone officiating. A time of gathering for family and friends will be one hour prior to services.
