She is survived by one daughter, Celena Cannon-Pierce (Rodney); one granddaughter, Shanumika Cannon; two aunts (maternal), seven sisters, five brothers and a host of nieces and nephews. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where family will receive friends Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Ronald C. Taylor Sr. officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
