Georgia Wells, 84, of Corbin, was born in Jarvis, to the late Chester and Bertie Jones. She departed this life Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at Christian Health Care Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Wells jr., and her sister Gladys Jones.
She leaves behind a host of cousins and friends who look forward to a grand homecoming.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today (Tuesday) in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl McCray officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers will be first and second cousins.
