Jeff Turner, 46, of Muncie, IN went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday July 26, 2008 in Muncie. He was born on April 9, 1962 in Monticello, KY the son of Lawrence and Irene (Wilson) Turner. He graduated from MuncieCentralHigh School in 1980 and attended BallStateUniversity. On October 22, 1988 he married Sherry (Rosinski) Turner who survives.
Jeff previously worked for the New Castle Correction Facility and the Delaware County Sheriffs Office. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, canoeing, and rafting. He was a member of the Buck Creek Trophy Club and the Tabernacle of Praise church in Muncie.
Surviving relatives include his wife Sherry Turner, his beloved two daughters, Chelsea and Lindsea Turner of Muncie; parents, Lawrence and Irene Turner of Muncie; grandmother, Jessie Wilson of Monticello, KY; one brother, Shannon Turner (wife: Tiffany) of Muncie; one sister, Tonya Turner of Muncie; nieces and nephews, Tiffany Smith, Myles Turner, Madison Turner and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Woodrow Wilson, Willie Lawrence Turner, and one grandmother, Cora Turner.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 30, 2008 at Tabernacle of Praise 2200 E. Fuson Rd.Muncie, IN. Rev. John M. Tyner will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 till 8:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN.
