DARBY, Charles E. Jr. Charles E. Darby Jr., 82, of Vernon and formerly of Wethersfield, passed away Saturday (July 7, 2012) at Rockville General Hospital. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Charles and Gunhild (Hedquist) Darby. He leaves behind his sister, Bernadette Madison and her husband Theodore of South Windsor; five nieces and one nephew. He was predeceased by a sister, Laurie Darby. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, (July 11) at 11 a.m. at the Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm St, Rocky Hill. The family gives a special "thank-you" to Dr. Anthony LaSala for his many years of care.
