Son of the late James Mac and Rachel Wilson Kidd, he was the widower of Clara Bell Shubert Kidd. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Billy Robinson. He was survived by his sons, Randall Kidd (Deborah), Doug Kidd (Tammy), and Harold Schubert (Margaret); daughter, Joyce Sosebee (Jerry); ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sistes, Lorine Hammond and Viginia Whitfield; and and extended family of relatives and friends. His funeral was held on November 30, 2013, with The Rev. Ronnie Shifflet and The Rev. Zach Watson officiating.
