Artemisa Oton Guerrero, age 87, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013, at Banner Good Samaritan medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.

She was born in Douglas, AZ on March 27, 1926 the daughter of Gabriel and Rita (Robles) Oton. She was a nurses aide at Gila General Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, being with her family, going to and watching sport activities, being at gatherings and collecting stuff.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son David Velasco, three brother, seven sisters and her grandson John Velasco.

Artemisa is survived by her husband Antonio Tony Guerrero of Globe, her daughters; Eva Warden (late Alec) of Globe, AZ, Marvella Gallardo (Gary) of Phoenix, AZ, Bettina Amado (Eddie Godoy) of Globe, AZ, her sons; Rene Velasco (Yolanda) of Miami, AZ, Ruben Velasco (Donna) of Phoenix, AZ, Juan Velasco (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ, Mario Velasco (Ginger) of San Leandro, CA. Ernie Velasco (Sharon) of Phoenix, AZ, Orlando Guerrero (Reena) of Globe, AZ, her stepchildren; Tony Guerrero (Cruz) Tucson, AZ, Linda Guerrero of Globe, AZ, Norma Caldera (Eddie) of Globe, AZ, Danny Guerrero (Cathy) of Claypool, AZ, and Nina Bird (Keith) of Tucson, AZ, her sisters; Sarah Velasco (Paul) of Mescal, AZ and Virginia Lopez (Armando) of Globe, AZ, 34 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 9:00 A.M. at OLBS Catholic Church in Miami, AZ. Rosary will follow at 9:30 A.M. at the church. Mass of Christian burial will commence at 10:00 A.M.

Interment will be at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson on Thursday, December 5, 2013.
