Anita "Louise" Green, 73, formerly of Comanche, died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at her home after a lengthy illness. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1st at Rocky Creek Cemetery near Brownwood with Brother Gerald Freeman officiating, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home.
Louise was born November 15, 1940 in Hamlin, Texas to Lillie Mae (Zipps) and Edward Boiles. She soon moved to Sweetwater, Texas at an early age where she met and married Billy C. Green January 21, 1956. He preceded her in death April 19, 2013. Louise was a wife and homemaker, and worked hard along her husband for many years. She was a very strong Christian woman and studied the Bible fervently. Louise loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her great grandchildren. At one time in her life she broke horses. She was an avid sportswoman who enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and dogs. Louise loved her church, Congregational Methodist Church in Dublin, and also visiting with Brother Freeman. She loved to camp
Survivors include her son, Jim Green and wife Debbie of Trent; two brothers, Charles and Roy Boiles both of Sweetwater; five grandsons, Jamie Green of Trent, Hollis Spruill of Kerrville, Billy Spruill and wife Dawn, Jalon Green and wife Brittney, and Christopher Wofford and wife Dana all of Abilene; twelve great grandchildren, Cherokee, Hannah, Morgan, Waylon, Hayden, Zachary, Zoey, Brook, Conner, Jaden, Sara, and Cayla; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and very close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Clara Green; and sister, Shirley Ann Boiles.
