The way I understand it is that Grissom Cemetery is white people on one side and on the other side is the Grady-Jones Cemetery which is black people. This was originally on Benjamin's farm but may now be the farm of Lawrence Odell Richard.

He was first married to Miss Martha A. Roberts, Dec 4, 1851, by whom there were seven children. She died October 14, 1867; and he was married a second time to Miss Martha J. Montgomery Feb. 23, 1868, by whom there was one child, a son. She died Jan 11, 1869. He was married the third time to Miss Martha S. Staples, October 24, 1869, by whom there were six children. Two of his children preceded him in death.
