Funeral Services for Minister Dorothy L. Moore Mitchell, 73, who went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 22, 2013 in New Smyrna Beach, FL, will be 11 AM, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Apostolic Faith Temple, with Apostle Dr. Tony Barhoo, Pastor, Living Faith World Ministries, officiating. Interment will follow in Glencoe-Geiger Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, Nov. 29 at Apostolic Faith Temple and from 9:30 AM until service time at the church on Saturday. Repast immediately following the Funeral at the Minerva Center on Saturday.

Minister Mitchell was born January 6, 1940 in Osteen, FL and retired from the Child Care Development Center after 20 years of service. She was a faithful member of Living Faith World Ministries, Daytona Beach. She was a warm, encouraging person who was quick with a hug and smile while faithfully sharing with others about her Savior.

She was preceded in death by her father Eddie Moore, husband, Sylvester L. Mitchell, Jr., and son, Allan Bernard Mitchell. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother: Lucille Anderson, Deltona, FL; sons: Sylvester Mitchell, III, California, Ronald (Sharon) Mitchell, Edgewater, FL, Tonny Mitchell, New Smyrna Beach, FL; daughters: Vivian (Sammie) Rogers, Jacksonville, FL, Malinda Mitchell, New Smyrna Beach, FL; two brothers: Ernest (Grace) Anderson and Sonny Anderson, both of Deltona, FL; four sisters: Grace (George) Stevens, Albany, GA, Martha (William) Howard, Deltona, FL, Mary Seward, Deltona, FL, and Ruby Anderson, Sanford, FL; five grandchildren: Marlon Mitchell, Martell Rogers, Naderia Murray, Jeremy Mitchell, and Jada Mitchell; goddaughters: Mandisa Brown, Robyn Jones, Vera Simpkins, and Yvonne Murrell and many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
