Spurgeon H. Lau
SEVEN VALLEYS – Spurgeon H. "Brownie" Lau, 74, of 41 Church St., died Thursday evening at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Kathryn (Krebs) Lau.
The service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the Goodling Funeral Home, 62 Main St. Burial will be in Zeigler's Cemetery. The viewing will be noon to 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born in Springfield Township, he was the son of the late Peter and Vickey (Messersmith) Lau.
He retired about nine years ago from Sechrist Bros., Dallastown. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Seven Valleys Fire Company.
Mr. Lau also is survived by a son, James P. Lau, York; two grandchildren; a sister, Mary Gerbrick, York; and two brothers, Paul L. Lau and Lester L. Lau, both of Seven Valleys RD 2.
