Sharon Hanson Curtis passed away on November 26, 2013.

She was born November 4, 1939 in Murray, Utah to Delbert and Ruby Harkness Hanson.

Sharon married Uriah V. Curtis on May 21, 1960.

Sharon retired after forty-two years as an executive secretary for Equitable Life and Casualty, where she made many lifelong friends.

She loved gambling, playing cards, antiques, dishes, and camping. She was an expert bargain shopper at D.I. and yard sales. Devoted BYU fan, much to the displeasure of her family. She also loved the Utah Jazz.

She is survived by her husband, Uriah Curtis; children, Terrea Lee Meredith, Michael Del (Sheri) Curtis, and Dena Lyn Hunter (Terry Coots); special niece, DeeDee Lockhart; sister, Diane (Herb) Kehl; grandchildren, Ryan, Lara, Ben, Brittney, Taylor, Shiane, Jeremy, and Desi; and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents, grandparents, and great-grandson, Colton Walters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Redwood Memorial Estates (6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville, Utah). A viewing will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. along with one hour prior on Saturday.
Interment will follow in the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
