Obituary: Mr. Jerry Thomas Mathenuy, 60, of Wynnburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at Baptist Hospital in Union City. Funeral services for Mr. Matheny were held Friday, January 10, 2003, at Tiptonville Chapel. Burial followed in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Mr. Matheny was a Retired Factory Worker. Mr. Matheny is survived by his wife, Mary Plunkett Matheny of Wynnburg; two daughters, Jerrie Jeanice Thomsen of Dresden, and Melissa Darlene Matheny of Wynnburg; a son, David Alan Matheny of Jackson, Tennessee; a sister, Brooksie Nelle Haggard of Parsons, Tennessee; two brothers, Marion Lee Matheny of Newbern, Tennessee, and Lester Eugene Matheny of Campbellsburg, Kentucky; and two grandchildren.
