She was born Nov. 6, 1940 in Ramsey, IL to the late Bryan & Alice (Rhodes) Cole.
She and Ronald E. Jeffries were married on Nov. 8, 1978 in Edwardsville, IL. He survives in East Alton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: a daughter, Lisa Moneyhun of East Alton, 3 grandchildren, Mikey L. Lowenstein, Erica L. Lowenstein & Madison M. Moore, 2 grandchildren, Bianca & Breanna Lowenstein and was anxiously awaiting 2 new great-grandbabies, 4 nieces & nephews, Ronald E. Powers, Debbie L. Linkey, Rick B. Powers & Lori A. Cornelison.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael W. Moneyhun, a sister, Joyce Powers, a nephew, Steven Powers and her best friend, Barb Hill.
Brenda enjoyed attending Roxana Shells football games and she loved being a "Nanny" to her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Fri. Nov. 29, 2013 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where services will be at 10:00 a.m. Sat. Nov. 30, 2013. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
