Gordon lands Rites Pending
BURNETTSVILLE - Gordon L. Landis, 75, Rt 1,
Burnettsville; died at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial
Hospital.
Born August 24, 1903 in Amboy, he was the son of Charles
and Dessie Snyder Landis. He was married in 1925 to Mildred
Sundheimer, who survives.
Surviving with the wife are two daughters, Lois Beck,
Burnettsville; and Dorothy Temple, Indianapolis; two sons,
James, LaFountaine; and William, Burnettsville: three
brothers, Charles, Logansport, Walter, Burrows; and
Herman, Wabash; three sisters, Atta Clevenger, Georgie
Snyder and Esta Watson, all of Wabash; 10 grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
Rites are pending at the Fisher Funeral Home. Friends
may call after 2 p.m. Thursday.
