Monticello, Nov. 25 — Mrs.
Esther Leona Allen, 40, died this
morning at 5:45 o'clock at her
home in Lockport, Carroll county,
after a short illness.
Born February 28, 1910, she
was the daughter of Abraham and
Otta White Hufford.
Survivors are the husband,
Alvie; three daughters and a
son; Mrs. Betty Ostheimer and
Mrs. Catherine Robbins of here;
Paul David and Bernice at home;
one sister, Mrs. Sarah Summers,
Logansport; two brothers: Chester
Hufford, route 1, Burnettsville;
Roscoe Hufford, Lake Cicott;
three half-sisters and one
half-brother; one grandchild;
and the parents, of Burnettsville,
route 1.
The body is at the Miller
funeral home where friends may
call. Final rites will be held there
at 1:30 Monday, in charge of: the
Reverend Virden Graham. Burial
will be in Davis cemetery, Burnettsville.
