Glenda Sue Spears Carroll, a resident of Varnado, LA, age 57, born on April 20, 1956 in Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at her residence.
She is survived by a son, Tucker (Brittney) Lee of Bogalusa, LA; a step-son, Justin Carroll of Bogalusa, LA; her mother, Lela Miley Davis of Varnado, LA; a grandson, Brody Lee of Bogalusa, LA; The love of her life for 50 years, Dennis Lee of Varnado, LA; two sisters, Marketta (Jimmy) Burdette of Katy, TX, and Nan (Paul) Herrington of Pine, LA; three brothers, Albert (Lachrisia) Davis of Bogalusa, LA, Joe (Robin) Davis of Bogalusa, LA, and Don (Teresa) Davis of Pine, LA; numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind special companions, Brenda Williams and Family, her faithful Yorkie, Suzi and DD Meat Company.
She is preceded in death by her fathers, Percy Spears and Albert Davis, Sr.; a brother, Eddie Delon Davis; and a special nephew, Sterling R. Gillis.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5:30 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Kelly Penton, Bro. Eric Williams and Bro. Acey Barber officiating. Interment to follow at Lon Miley Cemetery.
