"Takes Life After Spat - Remorseful over a love spat, Charles W. Sweigart, seventeen, of Ephrata, committed suicide in his automobile parked in the barnyard of his mother's home at Pine Hill, southeast of this borough

The car was only a few feet from where his mother, Mrs. Lena Sweigart slept, and was found at 7:30 a.m. by two neighbors, Ray Bushong and Russel Keath, both of Lititz RD1.

Dr. M. H. Yoder, county coroner, ....... a love spat had caused the suicide.

Service will be held in Ephrata Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with interment in Mohler's Cemetery."

Charles W. Sweigart, seventeen, of 518 W. Main St., Ephrata, was found dead yesterday of carbon monoxide fumes in his automobile parked in the barnyard at the home of his mother, Mrs. Lena Sweigart Worley, Lititz R1.

Dr. M. H. Yoder, Lititz, the county coroner, issued a verdict of suicide.

Besides his mother, the youth is survived by his father, Phares Ecenrode, 552 E. Main St., Ephrata; a half sister and two half brothers, Elva Catherine, Ralph Arlington Jr. and Ralph Eugene Worley II, all of Lititz Road. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma H. Ludwig, Lincoln; and his paternal grandfather, Harvey L. Ecenrode, Ephrata, with whom he resided."
