Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2013 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with Father Ike Temporaza officiating. Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.
Carlos was born on May 14, 1929 to Felix and Petra (Guerra) Riojas in Littlefield, Tx. His favorite past time was listening to his sons play music. Carlos was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Floydada.
He was preceded in death by his wife Francis Riojas, a son; Valdemar Riojas, and a daughter, Eufemia Barraza.
He was survived by 7 sons; Balentine Riojas of Floydada, Armando Riojas of Wolfforth, Johnny Riojas of Ballinger, Alex Riojas of Lamesa, Martin Riojas of Floydada, Marcus Riojas of Dumas, and Carlos Riojas of Lamesa, 3 daughters, Rosa Villalba of Ralls, Rachel Riojas of Hereford, Connie Riojas of Plainview, 3 sisters; Juana Vergara of San Angelo, Alice Naranjo of Lubbock, and Julia DeLuna of San Angelo.
