Annette Olive Neathery passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, November 25, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. Neda, or Meme, as she is remembered, was born on May 24, 1940 in Mangum, Oklahoma to William Henry and Betty Cook Olive. She graduated from Mangum High School in 1958 and attended Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She married her high school sweet heart, Orphie Neathery, on August 4, 1961 in Mangum. They enjoyed 52 wonderful years together. Neda was very active and enjoyed many years of tennis and golf at Oak Hills Country Club. She is a past president of the San Antonio Genealogical Society and has served for many years on the board of the National Olive Family Association. Her family was her treasure. One of her greatest joys was her six grandchildren who she spoiled at every opportunity. Meme will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Orphie; son Jeff Neathery and his wife Elaine, daughter Connie Hazen and her husband Vince; and six grandchildren Stephen and Brian Neathery; Sam, Hattie, Jack and Neils Hazen and his wife Kelly. Neda is also survived by her brothers Clayton and Ben Olive and Ben's wife Phyllis.

Visitation will be 12 noon, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel followed by a 1:00 pm Funeral Service. Interment will continue at Sunset Memorial Park.
