Albert E. Denton, born 6/21/31, went to be with God on 11/21/13. He was born to Leonard and Helga Denton of Melfort, SK CAN. His family moved to Anaconda MT in 1936, then to Seattle, WA in 1940.

In 1945 the family moved to a small farm in Spokane, WA. Al graduated from Lindbergh High at Valleyford, WA in 1950.

In 1952 he married his childhood sweetheart and was drafted into the Marine Corps the same year. Al was in the Naval Reserve for two years.

Al retired from Contel Telephone Company and was a member of IBEW Union. He was a Union man through and through. He was very proud of being a Lions Club member and was very active in the club for many years. He held three different offices over the years of membership with the Ferndale Lions.

Visitation is at Moles Farewell Tributes - Greenaces on Friday 11/29 at 1:00pm. Memorial Service is at United Church of Ferndale, 2034 Washington St., on Saturday 11/30 at 1:30pm. A graveside service with military honors is at Greenacres Memorial Park on Monday 12/2 at 11:00am.

Donations may be made to the Ferndale Lions Club.
