HAMLIN- Earnestine Raye "Little Mama" (Clark) Adair, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2013, in Lubbock. She was born June 29, 1933, in Eldorado, Texas to Alexander Gratton and Alma Clevie (Mercer) Clark. On March 12, 1955, she married the love of her life, Glenn Lewis "Slatz" Adair, in Eldorado, Texas. They shared 56 years of marriage. Slatz preceded Earnestine in death, passing away on September 25, 2011.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 1:00 PM at the Hamlin Memorial Cemetery, with Brother Cleve Lewis Clark and Rev. John Powell officiating, directed by Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home.

Earnestine was a longtime resident of Hamlin. In the course of her career as an accountant, she worked for Howard Drug, the Hamlin Clinic, and Hamlin National Bank. "Little Mama" was a wife, mother, and grandmother above all, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, games, and crossword puzzles in her spare time.
Earnestine is preceded in death by her parents (Alexander Gratton and Alma Cleavie Clark); two brothers (Earl Dean Clark and A.G. "Cotton" Clark); two brothers-in-law (Don Adair and Jack Wicker); and one sister-in-law (Billie Merle Wicker).

Earnestine is survived by daughter Carla Adair; grandson Reagan and wife Crystal; and their children Taylor Rae and Cameron Von; daughter Judy Adair; grandson Casey and sons Rowdy and Braydin; and grandson Stacey and wife Kim; three sisters-in-law, Mildred Adair, Dorothy Clark, and Peggy Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Earnestine's family would like to extend their thanks to the hospice workers who cared for "Little Mama" over her final months. They would like to extend special thank you to Brandi, Shawna, Cherisa, Tuter, and Courtney.
