Edra Maxine Truschan lost her battle with cancer and entered into rest surrounded by her family on June 19. Edra was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, enjoying her family and learning to play classical piano. She was proud to join the Marines in 1950 and was honorably discharged with a sharp shooting metal. She settled in San Francisco, married Arthur Chenoweth and had two daughters. Arthur passed in 1968. She was a member of the PTA and volunteered at the Blind Center transcribing books into brail. Edra was a Santa Clara County Transit Bus Driver for 16 years and received the Million Miles'' award. She married Billy Earl Truschan in 1977 and was excited to gain a daughter and son. They settled in Ripon in 1989 and Billy passed in 1992. Edra was a member of the Ripon Arts League, enjoyed seeing the Townsend Opera Players and traveling with her friends to the San Francisco Symphony. She loved spending time with her family and shopping with her girls. Edra is survived by her children, Janet Jensen and husband Mark of Modesto, Donna Fourre and husband Tom of Escalon, Michael Truschan of Occidental, Ellen Truschan of Salem, Oregon, grandchildren, David Harleman and fiance Sherrie Hamrick of Ripon, Dawn Harleman of Modesto, Robert, Tommy and Monica Fourre of Escalon, Cole and Quinn Truschan-Forner of Salem, Oregon, Joe Harleman, US Army serving in Iraq, Mark Harleman and wife Amanda of Nebraska, great-grandchildren, Kain Harleman of Ripon, Jesse Hamrick and Jason Van Horn of Ripon, Samantha and Terry Harleman of Texas, Ali, Shelbie and Faith Harleman of Nebraska, Jaina and Darcie Harleman of Kansas.
