DEAD.-It is with feelings of the deepest regret that we announce that MATHEW MANGAN, a resident of this town, died on the gunboat Eastport, belonging to the Mississippi squadron on the 7th last. The deceased was the youngest son of RICHARD MANGAN, Esq., who has furnished five brave and gallant boys to fight for the Constitution as it is; and the Union as it was. One of those brave fellows-RICHARD-died in Baltimore, in the Fall of 1861, and now, the pet and darling of his aged and sorely stricken parents has gone to rejoin him. Mr. M. and his worthy companion have our heartfelt sympathy in their sad bereavement. But let them not despair. In that happy land beyond the tomb, where sin and sorrow are unknown, they will unite with their brave boys, never more to separate.
