Gene grew up and attended school at Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He worked as a chemist for the Wynnewood Refinery for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting beanie babies, casinos, and was an avid O.U. fan. Gene was always there for anyone who needed him.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Oklahoma with Buddy Buie officiating. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
