Services for Douglas Cleveland 'Big Doug' Simmons, 42, of Geneva, will be held at County Line Baptist Church. Interment will follow in County Line Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Percy Garner & Son Mortuary Chapel in San Augustine.

Mr. Simmons died Nov. 23, 2013 in Geneva.

Services were held Saturday, November 30, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at the County Line Captist Church, Geneva, Texas with Rev. Gaylon Taylor officiating. Funeral under the direction of Garner and Son Mortuary, San Augustine, Texas.

Douglas Cleveland Simmons was born to J. B. Simmons, Jr. and Betty J. Simmons on March 22, 1971 in San Augustine, Texas. He attended school in Hemphill, Texas where he graduated in 1989. Douglas joined the County Line Baptist Church at an early age.

He was called home to rest on November 23, 2013. Douglas leaves to cherish his memories; his parents J. B. Simmons, Jr. and Betty J. Simmons of Geneva, Texas; his sisters Jackling Miller (James) of Fort Worth, Texas, Teresa A. Simmons (Steve) of Fort Worth, Texas and Michelle Simmons (Quinton) of Dallas, Texas; his brother Willie Simmons (Gloria) of Fort Worth, Texas; three (3) nieces Domanique, Nicole and Alexia; four (4) nephews, Richard, Travosky, Charles and Phillip; two (2) great-nephews; best friend James Belk and a host of other relatives and friends.
