Mrs. Remender was born Christine Jacobsen in 1880, one of seven children. She was married in 1896 to Albert E. Remender. Her husband died in 1927.
She is survived by three daughters, Della of Madison, Mrs. Jean Wells and Mrs. Elsie Woolridge, both of California; and one son, Harold of California; one sister, Mrs. Geogre Leu, and one brother, Paul Jacobsen, both of Madison; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
