Connie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at 10:42 a.m. at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 62.
She helped many during her 15 years as a Human Services Technician at Project Turnabout in Granite Falls, Minnesota. She enjoyed the quiet solitude of the lake and fishing and throwing them back. She also enjoyed reading romance and western novels.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Nelson, and her son, Sean Swart and his wife and three children: Hannah, Ashley and Robbie. She is also survived by her oldest grandson Michael Swart who is currently serving in the Navy stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and her sisters: Marlene Bredason (husband Dan) and their three children, and Darla Moore and her two sons.
Connie had a very meaningful journey, touching the lives of many. She is now walking with Jesus in peace. She will be greatly missed.
