Donna M. Powers, 66, a well known member of the Tewksbury community, died peacefully during the night, in her home, on January 28, 2013.

She was born in Cambridge, January 23, 1947, one of eight children of the late Karl Joseph Powers and Ursula A. 'Bubbles' Horgan Powers.

She had resided in Tewksbury her entire life, and was an active parishioner of St. William's Parish.

Donna was retired after more than 30 years with USAF Research Laboratory at Hanscom AFB.

She was a vocalist, who was a part of the St. William's Choir, the Tewksbury Interfaith Choir, as well as the Tewksbury Senior's Choir.

Donna was a member of the Billerica Irish-American Club.

She was a member of the Monday night league at the Collins Bowladrome in Billerica, and the Thursday morning golf league at the Tewksbury Country Club.

She enjoyed traveling, family vacations, her friends, and spending time at the beach.

But, her legacy was her love and devotion to her parents as well as being a 'second mother' to her siblings and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her siblings, nineteen nieces and nephews; seven grand nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, February 2, in St. William's Church, Tewksbury.

Burial followed at Tewksbury Cemetery.

Arrangements under the direction of Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury.
