Gail is the daugther of Floyd and Iris Kay Whitworth Stewart born on March 25, 1956 in Longview, Texas. She was a graduate of Henderson High School & attended Baylor University. She begin working at Good Shepherd Medical Center in 1978 was one a ACLS instructor. She received the "Stars Over Longview" in May 2003.
Mrs. Sandidge was preceded in death by her brother, David Stanley; and her father, Floyd Stewart.
∼Mrs. Sandidge was valedictorian of Henderson High School Class of 1974 and graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University in 1978. She began working as a nurse at Good Shepherd Medical Center in 1978, was one of the "Stars Over Longview" in May 2003 and was an ACLS instructor.
Mrs. Sandidge was preceded in death by her brother, David Stanley; and her father, Floyd Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters and their husbands, two grandchildren, her mother, her brother and sister-in-law, sisters and brothers-in-law, mother-in-law, and many other friends and family members.

While attempting to assist in subduing a violent patient in the bed next to her patient, Gail was murdered by a family member of that patient. Gail was a nurse at Good Shepherd Medical Center's (GSMC) surgical unit. Four others were wounded in the attack.
