Carl Hugh Laster, 83, Lafayette Road, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 2013, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lamb Funeral Home with Walter Edwards officiating.
Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West with full military honors.
A native of Todd County, he was born May 19, 1930, the son of the late Ross and Flossie McGee Laster.
He was a heavy equipment operator and a retired Marine.
He was a member of Southside Church of Christ, the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 1913 and Jouett Henry Chapter #8 of the Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ruby Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Foster Laster; two daughters, Joyce Dezarn and Phyllis Downey, both of Louisville; his son, Thomas Laster, Clarksville; his brother, Romey Laster, Hopkinsville; his sister, Pearl Knight, Todd county; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
