1862 Absent, On Detached Scout Duty. June 18, 1863 Letter to Col. at Arcadia, Missouri to Col.
George F. Geiger {In File} tendering resignation due to Ill Health. June 22/23, 1863 Resigned due to
Discharge on account of Disability. {Letter from Headquarters, Department of the Missouri, St. Louis,
Special Order # 66 shows tendering of resignation. Medical Certificate signed by Surgeon, E. A. Clark
