Mrs. Alma L Garey,82, of 820 Reed Ave. Manitowoc, died Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday at St Paul United Methodist Church Manitowoc.
Mr. Garey,nee Alma Fee was born Mary 15, 1893 at Baylis Ill., daughter of the late James and Maggie Mather Fee. She attended schools in Jacksonville Ill. and later attended business college. She was married to Elmer Garey Sept. 28, 1912, at Anaheim Calif., coming to Manitowoc in 1938,where Mr. Garey was manager of S S Kresge Co. until 1948.They then moved to Champaign Ill.r Garey preceded her in death in 1952. In 1958 she returned to Manitowoc to reside. She was a member of St Paul United Methodist Church and past president of the W.S.C.S. of the church. She was a member of Family Service Assn. and Manitowoc Senior citizens.
Survivors include two sons, Elmer A of Madison and Uriel E of Manitowoc, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Three sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 7 to 9 o'clock this Monday evening until 11 am Tuesday and at the church from noon to the time of service. Memorials may be made to St Paul United Methodist Church.
