Martha Beverly Boehm married John Frank Wecker on September 8, 1869 in Owensboro, Kentucky.

At the age of 37 on April 19, 1890 Mattie was baptized into the Catholic faith by Rev. Father A. T. McConnell. Mattie's sponsor was Mrs. A. Burkhardt.

Mattie out lived her husband. She had a total of eleven children. On April 20, 1910 she was living on Maple Street in Owensboro. Only out of her eleven children were living by this time.

She was a descendant of Rev. Martin Boehm (1725-1812) who was a Co-founder of the United Brethren in Christ denomination.
