Gerald Dean McKinney was born on April 18, 1936 in Muscatine, IA, the son of James and Jeffie (Eblen) McKinney. He married Mary Ann Gordon in 1958 in Muscatine, IA. Gerald worked for HJ Heinz as District Manager out of the Chicago Branch, then as a food broker for Iowa Illinois Sales. He retired in 1998.
Gerald enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Hawkeye Fan. He served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann of Davenport, sons; Jerry (Lisa) McKinney of Calamus, IA, Greg (Sandra) McKinney of Donahue, IA, four grandchildren, Jason, Jim, Matt, Bret and one great grandchild, Lydia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elsie Clark and brother, James McKinney.
