Clarence Ashley
ANDERSON — Clarence Odell "Junior" Ashley Jr., 73, of 504 Corning St., husband of Juanita Seawright Ashley, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Clarence Odell Ashley Sr. and Mary Richey Ashley. He was a retired paint contractor and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a stepdaughter, Sherry Stone of Donalds; two brothers, Bobby Ashley of Honea Path and Larry Ashley of Donalds; four sisters, Wilma Tumblin of Hickory Tavern, Joyce Cowan and Mary Fields, both of Honea Path and Dorothy Motar of Chester, Va.; two grandchildren.
Services are at 3 Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home, conducted by the Revs. Jerry Mize and Carroll Plemmons. Burial is in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 1-3 Saturday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of a brother, Bobby Ashley, 197 Bratcher Road, Honea Path.
