Graveside services for Mrs. Henderson will be held at 3:00pm, on Wednesday, November 27,2013 at Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus.
Visitation for Mrs. Henderson will be held from 1-2pm, on Wednesday, November 27,2013, at the funeral home.
Minnie Henderson was born on February 8, 1934 in Geneva, County, Alabama to the late James Ervin and Lennie May Spikes. In addition to her parents Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Henderson, sister; Vassie Spikes Cumbust, sister; Louise Spikes, brother; Leonard Spikes, brother; Houston Spikes, and a sister; Lula May Spikes.
Mrs. Henderson was a member of Oates Avenue Baptist Church where she was baptized. She was employed with Bibb Mill, and later served as a care giver with the Stewart Community Home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include three sons; Gerry Owens, Terry Owens, and Edwin Owens, one brother; Junior Spikes and his wife Louise, three grandsons, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/ledger-enquirer
