Rosemary Dalton Underwood, 71, passed away Sunday November 24, 2013. She was born in Casey County, Kentucky on March 29, 1942 to the late Jackie and Myrtie Richardson Dalton and was the wife of 53 years to Marcus Underwood.Mrs. Underwood was a member of Willow Grove Methodist Church in Yosemite, Kentucky and enjoyed Babysitting for all those who referred to her as "Granny Rose". She was a Mom to many and thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas holiday. Earlier in life she worked many years as a licensed practical nurse.In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Darrell (Beckie) Underwood of Danville, a daughter, Shannon Curtis of London, 4 grandchildren, Kayla (Tony) Mount of Louisville, Kyle (Kimberly) Curtis of Richmond, Bethany (Chase) Abbott and Bryan Underwood, of Danville, 1 great-grandson, Dixon Kyle Mount, and a brother Sherwood Dalton of Danville.She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Kenneth Curtis, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
