Nicholas Lutz, Mowrey street, generally accounted the oldest citizen in Danville, died Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock, death from a general breaking down, incidental to his advanced age. Had the deceased survived til Friday, he would have been 87 years old. Until the infirmity of old age incapacitated him for work he followed the business of carpet weaving. He was a good citizen, a man of careful, industrious habits and was well known throughout Danville and Vicinity. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment in Lutheran Cemetery.
