He lived his younger years in Snohomish County and worked for the Forest Service until he was injured.
He moved to Enumclaw and was an agent for Mutual of Enumclaw for many years. He retired in 1965.
He was active in the Arlington and Enumclaw rifle clubs and was an avid hunter.
Survivors are his wife Lee of Enumclaw and son Wayne E. of Seattle. Three sisters: Ellen Weddle of Everett, Edith Markwell of Marysville, Ida Holm of Arlington. Four brothers: William and Erling of Arlington, Elon of Darrington, and Richard of Lake Stevens. He is survived by nine grandchildren. Three step sons also survive him: Bob Anderson of Enumclaw, John Anderson of Colorado Springs, and Lynn Anderson of New York City.
There will be no services at Mr. Holm's request. Cremation was done by Bleitz and interment is at View Crest Abbey in Everett.
