The funeral of Mr. Charles E. Dohme, who died Thursday from heart trouble, took place yesterday afternoon from his home, 822 North Carrollton avenue. Rev. Dr. Richard Hogue, pastor of Acsension Protestant Episcopal Church, conducted the service. Burial was in Loudon Park Cemetery. The active pallbearers were superintendents of the departments of the Sharp & Dohme factory. They were Messrs. F.W. Dickson, C.F. Stauffen, W.G. Boucsein, C.C. Neal, Herman Engelhardt, Herman Sattler, H.C. Fardy and W.J. Smith. The honorary pallbearers were Messrs. H.T. Hilken, Charles Caspari, Jr., John F. Hancock, D.M.R. Culbreth, R.R. Waring, J.C. Muth, H.P. Gilpin, G.F. Bailey, H.P. Hynson, W.A. Satler, J.H. Wilkelmann and H.P. Merryman.
Several hundred employees of the firm, besides delegations from a number of societies of which Mr. Dohme belonged, attended the services at the home.
