Huntsville, Mrs. Jetta Carstensen Jones, 72, of Huntsville, died Monday at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden following an extended illness.

Mrs. Jones was born December 26, 1901, in Ogden, a daughter of Charles M. and Mary Anderson Carstensen.

On Dec. 11, 1919, she was married to Wilbur (Woody) Jones in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She has owned and operated a beauty salon in Ogden for many years. She had lived in Ogden and Huntsville all her life and graduated from Weber Academy.

She was a member of the Huntsville 2nd LDS Ward and had been active in the Relief Society. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Surviving are her husband of Huntsville, one daughter, Mrs Irving (Mary Lou) Eells, San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Lorna) Anderson, Pleasant View; Mrs. Conrad (Ruth) Stanley, Ogden.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Louis E Buhrley officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday prior to services.

Burial in the Ogden City Cemetery.
