Mitchell P. Morgan 60, of Dividing Creek died Tuesday morning at South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Vineland after a brief illness. Born in Bridgeton he was the son of James Herbert Morgan and the late Mary Viscuso Morgan and the husband of Patricia Bailey Morgan. Mitchell was formerly of Center Grove and resided in Dividing Creek the past 42 years. He was a mechanic for Mannington Mills in Salem and a member of the Deerfield United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and whitetail deer management. The most important thing to him was his faith and family.

Surviving are his wife Patricia, daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Dave Mulherin of Newport, his father, Herb Morgan of Center Grove, granddaughter, Piper Mulherin, sister, Nancy Dillahey and her husband Bob of Center Grove, brothers, James Morgan and his wife Marge, Jerry Morgan and his wife Diane all of Millville, mother in law, Hope Edwards of Mauricetown, sister in law, Connie Bailey of Largo, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Deerfield United Methodist Church Rt. 77 Deerfield Street, NJ on Friday January 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tom Austin officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening at the HOFFMAN FUNERAL HOMES 2507 High St. Port Norris, NJ from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
