Funeral Service for Rick Mitchell, 53, Kremlin, will be Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Steve Meier officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Hennessey Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.
Rick was born on October 22, 1960 in Cushing, Oklahoma, the son of Fred and Iris Strader Mitchell, and passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25th in Enid. He was raised and educated in Enid until the 10th grade when he moved with his family to Hebron, Nebraska where he graduated from Hebron High School with the class of 1978. Rick moved back to Enid in 1979 and attended Autry Tech, receiving his Welding Certification. He worked for Enid Mack, Specialty Plastics and BRG Petroleum. Rick married Violet Beebe in Las Vegas on July 22, 1994. Rick loved riding and customizing his Harley Davidson Motorcycles and playing with his best friend, Jasper, a blue heeler. Rick is survived by his wife, Violet of the residence; parents, Fred and Iris Mitchell of Kremlin; step-son, Stephen and wife Amy Perigo; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Jonathan Perigo, all of Papillion, Nebraska. Rick was preceded in passing by his grandparents
