Linda Faye Bridges, 68, of Reidland died Thursday, May 30, 2013, at her home.

Linda was of the Baptist faith and was a 49-year member of Heartland Worship Center/Bible Baptist. Besides being a full-time mother and homemaker, Linda owned or partnered several business in the area. She was an avid sheller and loved Sanibell Island. With her love of traveling, she had visited Canada, Mexico and Israel and every state except Washington and Oregon.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Walter E. Bridges; her mother, Sylvia Fifer; three sons, Randy Bridges and wife, Carla, Tony Bridges and wife, Elva, all of Reidland, and Darryl Bridges and wife, Kris, of Florence, SC; one daughter, Kari Gibbs and husband, Gary, of Southaven, MS; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Burgess and wife, Vickie, of West Paducah and Steve Burgess and wife, Shirley, of Kirksey along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roscoe Lee Burgess, and an infant sister.

Services will at 1 pm Monday, June 3, 2013, at Heartland Worship Center with the Rev. Nathan Joyce and the Rev. Dax Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah. Friends may call from 4-8 pm Sunday, June 2, 2013, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah and after 11:00am Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Heartland Worship Center in Paducah.
