Mary Buck Whitman, a former longtime resident of Ridgefield Road, died Sunday, Feb. 4, at her home in Southampton, N.Y. She was 89.
Ms. Whitman is survived by her son, Robert Sturgis Whitman of Southampton; her daughter, Julia Whitman Reed and her husband, Michael, of Sebastopol, Calif.; two grandchildren, Andrew Donelson Morrow of Chanhassen, Minn., and Anise Morrow Hirschfield of Jackson Hole, Wyo.; and six great-grandchildren, Aberdeen, Georgia, and Virginia Morrow and Simon, Theo, and Lucana Hischfield.
