Cynthia K. Griffith Perry, 18, lifelong resident of Wickenburg and 1979 graduate of Wickenburg High School died Thursday, Feb 7, at 5 a.m. after the car she was driving was struck by a semi tractor-trailer on US 60 south of Wickenburg.
Cindy was a student at Glendale Community College and graduated with honors with the Wickenburg High School Class of 1979. She was a cheer leader for two years while at WHS, and was a member of the track team.
She is survived by her mother, Kathleen Perry, father, Perris Griffith; a sister Lowana Perry; her grandmother, Minnie Lee and her great grandmother, Mabel Meddle.
Services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the First Southern Baptist Church with Father Donald Chilton officiating. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
